If you were one of the lucky few who pre-ordered EA’s Dante’s Inferno from a Gamestop and made the trek to pick it up at your local store’s midnight opening, you were treated to a nice lil surprise. I made the trek, picked up the PS3’s Divine edition (look for a review shortly) and while paying for it the sales rep through a treat in my bag..that treat my friends was none other than a 7″ scale fully poseable Dante figure by Neca!!! If you’re a gamer you should be familiar with video game character toy maker Neca Online. They only reproduce some of the most realistic molds of today’s hottest game characters (ex. Dead Space’s Issac Clarke, GoW’s Kratos!!)..and all super poseable. LOVE IT and you Neca for this amazing amazing surprise.
Dante comes complete with his cross weapon as well as his larger main weapon. Again, freakin sweet! Look forward to an article in the next few days about game publishers changing the scope and lure of pre-ordering. From additional free DLC of episodes to some games as well as exclusive suits and weaponry seen in more recent titles like Mass Effect 2.
