This is a game that is enjoyable from the start as long as you go into it with proper expectations. This game is no Need for Speed or Grand Theft Auto but it is a fun driver with challenges that keep you on the edge of your seat. I actually caught myself tensing up and getting on edge while trying to execute the required moves (like holding beside a semi for 5 seconds while being chased and smashed by enemies). The graphics are great and very realistic and offer multiple views so you can decide ...
Review: Dead Space: Extraction
Since it's conception I've been waiting patiently for this games arrival. Skeptical on how this would work on the Wii, I have to admit I almost didn't want to drop the 50 bucks on a Wii title. Now with that said I have to say, this game would be worth 60 if requested! Dead Space: Extraction has to be, HAS TO BE one of the best games to come out on the Wii for quite some time and will easily be one of the games to beat as game of the year for this console. The graphics and sound are outstanding. T...

Did someone say Pizza? Donnie, Mikey, Leo and Raph are back and they are ready to smash everything in site. But they are not alone this time they have a few new friends tagging along; Zen like Master Splinter, the nosey reporter April O'neil and the urban jock Casey Jones. A number of other classic TMNT characters will also be found through out the game - the Shredder and Foot Clan member Karai will be seen at several points through your story. From a playability mode this game relies heavily on ...
Review: WET
What can I say? I'm a sucker for a girl with a dirty mouth and a take no sh!t attitude so it should come as no surprise that Rubi is my kind of girl. As I previously said in my first impressions review, this games ends up being some "good old fashioned fun" but, while the groundwork has certainly been laid that's not to say that WET doesn't have a few pitfalls that prevent it from being a truely incredible gaming experience. The story puts you in the shoes of killer for hire Rubi Malone as she he...
Review: Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway
My fellow gamers, if you're into the military genre then you more or less have heard of the Brothers in Arms series from gearbox. These boys (and girls) work hard to create the most realistic renditions of what war was/is all about and it shows. Definitely the underdog in the realm of the military FPS strategy genre, Brothers in Arms is due some respect. Especially since now a days I see this title going for as little as $20 bucks in some retail stores which is nuts and almost insulting!!Ahem, l...
Review: NHL 10
Last years version of the wildly popular NHL series was deemed by many critics as "The best sports game ever". Having said that, the people at EA Sports had alot to live up to. I'm happy to say that despite some of the issues I have with the game (lingering gripes that carried over this year), NHL 10 seems to have retained that title this year. The biggest changes that veterans of the series will notice is the new "Board Play" and the after the whistle shennanigans. Board play is basically when t...
Review: Shadow Complex
Let's cut to the chase on this one, if you own a 360 this is a game you must have in your collection. For about 1200 ms pts you get hours of some of the most innovative platforming I've seen in years. It's 2d, yet 3d - 3d, yet 2d all at the same time. I love it! Unless you've been under a rock for the past few weeks, I could only be speaking about Epic Games' Shadow Complex. For an XBL game, Shadow's highly polished and worth every point spent in my opinion. From the soundtrack down to the backin...
Review: The Beatles Rockband
Right in time for the reissuing of the entire back catalogue (completely re-mastering that took about 4yrs) of Beatles music, the folks at Harmonix are set to release (Sept 9) their latest iteration of the popular music game series The Beatles Rockband. Yours truly had the opportunity to get some hands on time this past weekend. The gameplay hasn't changed if you're familiar with the series but it does give the inclusion of being able to have backup singers. Some games actually have the ability t...
