Today the team over at Epic announced that the fate of Clayton Carmine, the third brother, in the upcoming “Gears of War 3” title. Control Carmine's future by purchasing avatar gear on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, fans and gaming communities around the globe will decide the destiny of the newest Carmine brother set to appear in “Gears of War 3,” with all the proceeds going to the Child’s Play Charity.

A couple weeks back I had the pleasure of meeting James Cope of Ruffian Games. Xbox found a great location for this event - high at top one of the residential building down town with a great view view from the buildings roof top patio. Fitting for a gaming event that deals where your character spends a good deal of time climbing to the highest points on the map to collect power ups and orbs.

E3 Warm Up

E3 is approaching - YEAH!!! - and gaming developers are starting to tease with their upcoming game and platform announcements. Those lucky people that are making there way to the Los Angeles Convention Center, will be filled by all the gaming goodness that can be had in just a couple days.
Xbox: Natal, Cirque du Soleil, Halo: Reach, Fable 3, Gears of War 3 and Crackdown 2. Possibly mix in the Insomniac Games Partnership with their new game. Might just be the winner of the event.

XBL says goodbye to XBOX Original Consoles

Xbox LIVE's general manager Marc Whitten (Gamertag Notwen) has posted this letter to the community announcing that the XBL service for Original Xbox Games and consoles would be discontinued on April 15th.

Activision has yet again brought us a new “Hero” series game, this time venturing away from the guitar, drums, and microphone to bring us DJ Hero. Yes another metal and plastic instrument for are already overcrowded living rooms. There are two versions of the game the regular edition and the Renegade Edition featuring Jay-Z and Eminem.
